Selective School and Scholarship Tests

This book is designed to give candidates practice and confidence in sitting for examinations to selective high schools or independent schools either for entry or scholarships.

All exams have a strict time limit so this book not only provides practice in answering types of questions but hopefully will increase a pupil’s speed. It is essential that a person works right through each test paper until he or she has finished. After doing all the sets of papers, it is hoped that a pupil will have become faster, more accurate and more confident in answering the questions.

This book includes reading comprehension tests, mathematics tests and general aptitude tests, with answers (in a removable section in the middle of the book).

Peter Howard is an ex-primary school principal and author of many widely used textbooks and teaching aids.
