My First Game: Petting Zoo

Wondersaurus says:

We love My First Game: Petting Zoo for its charming mix of tactile discovery and early learning, delivering gentle, hands-on fun for toddlers 2 and up. Its a delightful way to turn a simple barn into a sensory hide-and-seek adventure that builds vocabulary, matching skills, and fine-motor strength.

Description:

This 2-player game centers on a sturdy plastic barn (19 cm long) that hides six textured farm friendssheep, frog, snake, pig, cow, and rabbiteach about 7.5 cm tall and covered in different touch-and-feel fabrics. Players spin the textured spinner, then reach inside the barn to feel for the matching animal by texture alone before revealing it for confirmation. With three guided ways to play that grow alongside early learners, the set encourages turn-taking, descriptive language, and sensory exploration without any reading required. Durable pieces sized for little hands make it perfect for sensory bins, circle time, or quiet play at home, letting boys and girls endlessly explore, match, and share their discoveries while discovering how touch, talk, and teamwork come together to create confidence-building toddler adventures.
