Kane Chronicles #2: The Throne of Fire

Wondersaurus says:

We love The Throne of Fire for how it deepens the Kane siblings’ journey with higher stakes, sharper wit, and every bit of the mythological mayhem that made the first book shine. Carter and Sadie are at their best here bickering like only siblings can while racing against time to awaken the sun god Ra before the chaos serpent Apophis breaks free to plunge the world into eternal darkness.

Description:

This second installment expands the Riordanverse with richer Egyptian mythology, introducing new gods, monstrous adversaries, and the hilarious chaos of a senile Ra in need of his throne. Between Sadie’s snarky narration, Carter’s growing confidence as a leader, and a cast of unforgettable side characters, the book balances genuine danger with laugh-out-loud moments proving that family, even a dysfunctional one, might just be the most powerful weapon against the forces of chaos.
