Every dinky-di Aussie, young or old, should have the opporunity, and pleasure, of the stories of Steele Rudd. Their simple, honest humour and fun offers a short relief from the daily noise and violence of modern society. They are real Australian stories. This selection of ‘Dad and Dave’ stories has been adapted for adapted young readers.

At the end of each chapter is a ‘How Well Did You Read?’ section to test whether the chapter has been read and understood.
