How Things Work: LOOPY RACER

Wondersaurus says:

We love How Things Work: Loopy Racer for its thrilling blend of physics and playful engineering, turning motion and momentum into a high-speed STEM adventure. Ready the racer at the top of its track, let go, and watch it zoom down and loop-the-loop gravity, speed, and energy all doing their dance in one jaw-dropping ride. It’s the kind of build that makes children aged 8+ feel like real track designers and race engineers, figuring out just what it takes to conquer that gravity-defying loop.

Description:

First, kids snap together the elevated track and position the launcher, then send the little car plunging down the ramp will it make the loop, or will it tumble back? Every run is a satisfying experiment in how height and momentum carry a vehicle through the turn, with plenty of encouraging trial and error along the way. They can reposition the track, vary the launch point, and test different angles to crack the secret of making it every single time. With step-by-step illustrated instructions and a durable, reusable design, the Loopy Racer turns a classic gravity toy into a hands-on lesson in kinetic energy a perfect pick for curious minds who love watching science race to the finish.
