She Almost Disappeared

She Almost Disappeared is an unflinching collection of utterances from the interior poems that map the body as both battleground and burial ground, charting the slow erosion of a woman who kept showing up anyway. These are poems about what accumulates. The small choices that become monuments. The love that will not leave the pores. The childhood commands that live in the fist for three decades. The corporate walls that require a soul as the price of entry. The roots pressing through reluctant soil toward a bloom the body knows before the mind consents.
